Tyler Childers cancels tour over Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Tyler Childers had canceled his tour over the pandemic COVID-19 scare that has seen scores succumb to the novel virus.

This had to cancel his Hampton, Virginia, Toronto, Canada, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after the local government issued him and his team some vital, key information about their safety and his fans at large.

“After careful consideration of information provided by local governments, our shows in Hampton, VA, and Toronto, Canada have been canceled. Our show in Philadelphia, PA has been canceled by local officials.” Childer wrote on social media,

“As disappointing as it is to deliver this news it seems the only responsible thing to do at this point. We take the health of our fans, band, crew, tour partners and venue staff very seriously and want everyone to stay safe. Refunds will be available at point of purchase. Ticketholders will be contacted directly regarding the cancellation in the next few days.”

Tyler Childer joins other established country musicians who were also on tour but had to cancel and/or postpone their tour because of the Coronavirus.
