The ‘Die a Happy Man’ hitmaker took to social media to share a throwback photo with his then-girlfriend now-wife, Lauren Akins, in 2011 in a field in Tennessee. Right then and there he knew that they would eventually get married, start up a family, and live happily forevermore.
True to his premonition, and nine long years later, Thomas Rhett is celebrating the 9-years anniversary that has seen them have 3 beautiful, adorable kids with the fourth one on the way.
Thomas Rhett’s picture that he shared online shows how happy they were years ago, just as happy as they are today.
“This picture was taken in a field in Tennessee in 2011. I knew from this one night that we were gonna get married and grow old together.
Here we are 9 years into marriage. I’m thankful to God every day that You said yes to marrying me! What a wild ride of just being us two for 5 years, to now having 3 beautiful baby girls, to almost welcoming our 4th baby! What is life?!?!

She took to social media as well, sharing a photo of their wedding day accompanied by a beautiful caption that vows to forever love and cherish her husband whom she considers to be her best friend thanking Rhett for loving her unconditionally throughout the years.
