Dylan Scott has achieved yet another career milestone.

Dylan Scott’s first-ever #1 hit song ‘My Girl’ got the RIAA Double Platinum certification, making it one of the most streamed and/or bought country songs in the history of country music.

The Curb Records’ successful recording artist, Dylan Scott also saw his debut self-titled studio album dubbed ‘Dylan Scott (Deluxe Edition)’ attain the Gold certification status by the RIAA.

Since the release of his debut studio album ‘Dylan Scott (Deluxe Version)’ back on August 12, 2016, the project has accrued over 730 million on-demand streams thus far. It’s one of country music’s projects you just have to own, it’s nothing short of fireworks in that album.

The ‘My Girl’ hit song as written by ‎Dylan Scott and Josh Kerr is off the self-titled studio album that later on became the #1 at the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

The ‘My Girl’ hit song which will forever be a classic was the #6 most-played country song in 2017 hitting Billboard and Mediabase charts at #1 in July 2017.

The hitmaker took to social media to thank his loyal fans who have always stood by him over the years for enabling him to reach such a milestone in his career.

“I am so blessed to get to do what I do, and have fans who support me and my music.” Dylan Scott said, adding, “Thank y’all for helping “My Girl” go 2X Platinum, and my debut album go Gold.”


According to Mediabase, the ‘My Girl’ hit song was the #40 songs of the decade, which is not something to be taken lightly, the ‘My Girl’ song will forever go down in history as one of the timeless, hottest tracks to ever grace the country genre.

Currently at country radio, Scott’s crowd-pleasing single, “Nobody,” boasts over 37 million on-demand streams, and debuted on TODAY with Hoda and Jenna earlier this year.
