It’s no secret that Lily Rose is a daddy’s girl, whenever she finds time, her dad would always be among the first few people she would look for. She’s been doing it so much that it’s become somewhat a tradition.
The ‘Villain’ hitmaker was blessed to savor and enjoy the moment when she first heard her record play on the radio together with her dad inside a car and it was amazingly beautiful, it’s something she will never forget.
Remembering how meeting up with her dad yesterday made her day, Lily Rose took a brief reverie going down memory lane on the first time she saw Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band and how her life changed soon after that.
That was the same night that she made a solemn decision of wanting to become an artist, a performer and a songwriter. She only didn’t know that she was manifesting her future right then and there.
“We all have nights in our life that you look back on, and remember how much they affected you for years and years after. Some nights, you can tell how much it will affect you for years to come.
12/02/2002 I saw Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band for the first time, (hell live music for the first time) and everything changed. That was the night that began to shape who I am as an artist, performer and songwriter,” she said in part on social media.
Yesterday was the day that she shared stories with her dad in New York City that made her feel as if she exchanged stories together with Bruce Springsteen as well. She went further to disclose that she will never forget the two memories she left with after spending time with her dad yesterday thanking music for the great things it has managed to do for her. She left the theater last night feeling “mesmerized, energized and inspired,”
Lily Rose also shared a photo of her young self together with her adoring father who has always been there for her throughout everything life has thrown her way.
“08/24/2021 I shared a night of stories and Bruce with my dad in NYC. It felt like just the 3 of us in that theater last night. In both moments, I left mesmerized, energized, and more inspired than ANYTHING music has been able to do for me before.
I also left with two memories with my old man that I will NEVER forget. Thank you for a soundtrack of color, and a lifetime of moments you’ve created for my family and me, @springsteen,” she added.
