Luke Combs saw it fit to release a song that was meant to be included in his bluegrass album that he was working on.

Luke Combs brought out Billy Strings who also co-wrote the ‘Great Divide’ song together with Wyatt Durrette for the magnificent piece that would make perfect sense right now more than ever.

If anything this song proves the versatility of Luke Combs and his effort of making the world a better place, one song after the other and starting out with ‘The Great Divide’ hit song that was pulled from the bluegrass album seems like a start.

“Wrote it with my buddies Billy and Wyatt Durrette in June of last year.” Luke Combs shared on social media in part about his song ‘The Great Divide’.

“It was originally intended to be on a bluegrass album that I was working on, but that has been put on pause for now and album 3 is up next.” he went on.

Luke reiterated that the song wasn’t meant to sway anybody to anything whatsoever and/or change anything and/or everything you believe it, it’s not political in any way because that’s not his calling neither is it his job.

“However, I thought now was a good time to put this song out with everything that has been and is going on in the world. It isn’t meant to be political or try and tell you what to think or believe; that’s not my job.” Luke Combs explained.

Luke agreed that the song will sound a little different because it was meant for his bluegrass studio album but he would love for all of us, his fans globally to check and tell him how unique and lovely it sounds because it’s just that; amazing, unique and lovely to say the least especially during these trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It’s just me saying how I felt when I wrote it and I wanted y’all to hear it. Since it was meant to be on my bluegrass album, it will sound a little different than what y’all are used to hearing from me, but would love for y’all to check it out and let me know what y’all think,” he added.

Granted, this sound isn’t what we are used to listening to when it comes to Luke Combs but regardless, we love it when it’s all said and done.

From the lyrics of ‘The Great Divide’, we can get some sense of comfort, assurance, and promise that everything will be okay at the end of the day when it’s all said and done.
