Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin “The Sheriff” have hit the road for their 2021 road trip in their Airstream trailer.

The country singer is on music hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but that does not stop her from traversing the nation.

The 37-old-singer was forced to stay at home for a while and reschedule tour dates as Coronavirus was ravaging the nation early last year.

But Lambert is not the type that locks up herself in the bunker forever, she bought the Airstream and hit the road with McLoughlin in May 2020.

The singer used time during Covid-19 lockdown period to travel across the country and explore places she had not previously been to.

“I’ve been touring for 19 years and most times we just roll in, play our show, and roll to the next town.

I’ve only gotten to spend some real time in a few of the places I’ve been. “I’ll be pulling this rig all over the country. I know that seeing the world through the windshield again will bring creative vibes,” wrote Lambert.

The tricenarian recently documented her first stop on the big 2021 road trip on a post on her Instagram account, where she shares pictures with her husband and their in Asheville, North Carolina.

“Hey y’all , we’re back out on the road with “The Sheriff”. First stop was Asheville NC.

My first time there and this was night one sleeping under the Wolf moon at the KOA. It was pretty magical. We visited The Builtmore Estate. It was absolutely stunning.

You can feel the history and heart that was put into that property as soon as you step foot on the grounds.

The details in the architecture and the beautiful conservatory full of blooms took my breath away.

I bought a Bon Bon from the confectionary (the birthday cake one ) and ate it on the terrace. I just wanted to say I ate a Bon Bon at the Builtmore. Fancy like. Another fave was The Moose Cafe where they serve warm biscuits the size of my whole face with homemade apple butter and we had the sweetest waitress. The Curate tapas bar was delish and The Red Stag Grill had the coolest vibes and a great cocktails called “quarantine fatigue”. Amen!

One last thing…. we have the pups along on this trip and Delta Dawn pulled her back out so I wanna say a big thank you nice people at MedVet Asheville for taking such good care of her . She is doing fine! Needless to say, we will be back very soon Asheville NC!” Lambert wrote.
