Luke Combs has since made a name for himself in the country music industry making his name, not only pop everywhere you go across the country but gradually becoming synonymous with the always evergreen country music.

His name is gradually becoming bigger by the day even outside the US thanks to his dominance in the country music scene and topping in almost all other charts there is to top.

The singer originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, didn’t even pick up a guitar until he was 21 years old, which should tell you if there was something Luke Combs was born to do was be a country music scene, some million people honestly believe that he was indeed destined to be the best country singer the world has ever seen thus far.

Luke Combs is one country music singer that deserves all the props coming his way for doing honest, tremendous work in the country music through his songs over the years.

Prior to releasing his latest project dubbed ‘What You See Is What You Get’ which has 17 tracks on it, Luke Combs had previously released five other projects over the years which has since molded him to become one of the most prolific, consistent and gifted country music singers under the sun today.

His debut project, an EP, ‘The Way She Rides’ was released back in February 2014, with a follow-up EP in the same year dubbed ‘Can I Get an Outlaw’ and just from listening to him on this project, you’d understand then and now that truthfully, Luke Combs was destined for nothing short of greatness and dominance in the country music scene.

In November 2015, Combs released his third EP, ‘This One’s for You’.

Luke Combs released his debut album also titled ‘This One’s for You’ on Columbia Nashville and River House Artists which peaked at number one on Billboard Top Country Albums and number five on the US Billboard 200.

Luke Combs went on to release his fourth extended play, ‘The Prequel’ in 2019 on 7th June which was then followed up by his latest work, ‘What You See Is What You Get’ studio album that pretty much everybody across the globe can’t get to have enough of.

For an artiste who started out his mainstream country music career in 2014, Luke Combs has clearly made a name for himself alright, Combs has been able to achieve quite a lot in his six years in the music industry that anyone would imagine possible.

Luke Combs’ achievements thus far are achievements that can’t be and won’t ever be forgotten as long as men continue to draw breath on God’s good green earth, this is an achievement on its own.

The latest project is a clear indication that he was indeed born to be a country singer even though he might have had a possible career playing football as well since he played the sport while attending A. C. Reynolds High School, folks down there say he was actually pretty good.

His latest offering dubbed ‘What You See is What You Get’ is a 17 track project that has only two features coming from Eric Church and the duo, Brooks & Dunn which comprises of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn who are both vocalists and songwriters.

If there’s a project that you won’t ever get bored listening to is Luke Combs’ ‘What You See is What You Get’ that I’ve already listened to a couple of times already.

Not like there’s any country record out there that is boring in any way but I know you understand what I am saying.

  1. If there’s something that is perfect in country music is Luke Combs music.

    His voice and the ability to tell a tale and a love story in equal measure whenever he wants to is something that can’t be overlooked.

    I appreciate this album and I already bought myself some tickets to see him perform live.
