Jennifer Denmark’s reaction

Jennifer is over the moon after having the very first song that she wrote hit that number one spot and she honestly can’t believe it but she’s happy at the same time.

She’s very happy to have worked with one of her best friends ever in Paul Sikes and also working with one of the best-talented Country musicians she has ever had the opportunity to work with.

Jennifer after who has worked with Florida Georgia Line, Kelsea Ballerini, Hunter Hayes, Jason Mraz, Aaron Carter, having her first-ever number one record in America feels like she now has something in common with her dad, Alan Johnson and she can’t be happy enough.

Denmark is so happy to have co-written the number one country music in the country and she’s happy she made her late dad proud because she’s finally doing what she wanted to

“I never had anything in common with my dad. To the extent that my sister used to joke that I had to be the milkman’s kid. But today a song that I co-wrote is the #1 song in America, and I finally feel like there is a little Alan Johnson in me after all. I may not get my musical or creative genes from him, but he led by example with a drive and work ethic that I wanted to emulate. All I have ever wanted to do was make him proud. To work my hardest at something. To really succeed at something. And I know today he is looking down on me flashing his signature squinty-eyed smile and high fiving angels.” Jennifer said in part on her lengthy Instagram post.

Jennifer went on to add how proud she is to have to share this powerful, magnificent moments with two special people she holds dear to hear, Jimmie Allen and Paul Sikes.

“I am so grateful for a job that fills me with fire and for the opportunity to share this moment with one of my best friends Paul Sikes and one of the most lovable and charismatic artists I’ve ever met Jimmie Allen,” She added.

Paul Sikes reaction

The co-writer of the number one country song in America, Paul Sikes still can’t seem to believe that he is actually a part of history the ‘Make Me Want To’ being the second song ever by Jimmie Allen to ever reach the number one spot.

Paul Sikes still seems to need some time to let all these accomplishments to sink in and when it does, he might come up with a well-deserving post that his fans would love to get to know about.

Paul is super thankful to have his first number one in country music radio and he’s also happy to have worked on the project with Jimmie Allen and Jennifer Denmark who co-wrote the song together back in 2017.
