Tyler Childers has been the center of most country music talks over the years had his first-ever Grammy Awards, red carpet interview at the 62nd Grammy Awards.
Tyler Childers was nominated alongside five other artistes for the ‘Best Country Solo Performance’.
As much as he didn’t win the coveted award which later went to Willie Nielson’s ‘Rime Me Back Home’, Childers was more than happy to have been nominated at the Grammys which was his first-ever nomination.
Talking at the red carpet, Tyler Childers opened up about Shooter Jennings who congratulated him for getting his first-ever Grammy Awards nominations.
“… he[Shooter Jennings] reached out and congratulated me, he’s always been real strong supporter of my stuff, he’s one of the first DJs to ever play my stuff,” Tyler Childer answered a question he was asked if anybody in the country music had congratulated him.
Shooter Jennings, real name Waylon Albright Jennings who is a singer/songwriter has always supported Tyler Childers and his music since day one and Childers is forever grateful to him.
