Jimmie Allen is grateful, eternally grateful after winning at the recently concluded 55th ACM Awards the other day where he went home with the award of the ‘New Male Artist of the Year’ category.
The ‘Best Shot’ singer who impressed the entire County Music scene with his debut studio album dubbed ‘Mercury Lane’ not so long ago amassed some loyal fans who got to stream his project that proved without a reasonable doubt that he was here to stay and dominate and continue to do what he was born to do; and that is to write Country music songs and perform them for his fans all over America.
Jimmie Allen has been busy in the recent months where he even got to work with the one and only Brad Paisley on the ‘Freedom Was A Highway’ hit song taken from his 16-track ‘Bettie James Gold Edition’ studio album where he also featured Noah Cyrus, Darius Rucker, Charley Pride, Nelly, Mickey Guyton, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Monica, Little Big Town, Lanco, Pitbull, Teamwork, Vikina, Breland, Lathan Warlick, Lindsay Ell, Neon Union, Babyface, Rita Wilson, The Oak Ridge Boys, Tauren Wells.
Jimmie Allen has been busy, quite busy indeed and he finally got to be rewarded for it.
The 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards saw Jimmie Allen awarded the ‘New Male Artist of the Year’ beating Travis Denning, HARDY, Cody Johnson, and Parker McCollum who were both nominated in the same category
“I have watched the CMA Awards since I can remember. To win this award was an amazing feeling. It wasn’t the trophy that made it a win for me it was the “acceptance”.
Winning this means the country music industry accepts me as an artist and a creative. I want to thank my team for all the hard work.
Working with people that work just as hard as I do is what creates opportunities. Thank you to everyone that has voted for me,” Jimmie Allen shared on social media as he posed with the award trophy.
